Amplifying SAAP’s Mission through Digital Dialogue

In an era defined by rapid digital transformation and shifting societal norms, SAAP’s youth-centric outreach and its digital arm, SAAP TV, are pivotal in shaping the nation’s future. “ZEBA SHAHNAZ KAY SAATH” is conceived as a groundbreaking podcast, hosted by celebrated artist and social advocate Ms. Zeba Shahnaz. This initiative seeks to bridge generational divides by creating a dynamic space for candid conversations and innovative solutions to pressing challenges. By blending Ms. Shahnaz’s influence with youth perspectives, the podcast will transition from studio-based discussions to live university roadshows, ensuring diverse perspectives shape the national discourse, all under the banner of SAAP TV’s commitment to social change.

Phase 1 - Building Connections through Informed Dialogue

The inaugural 4-5 episodes will explore “Humour as a Catalyst for Social Change,” leveraging light-hearted discussions to dismantle barriers and engage audiences. By starting with relatable and universal themes, the podcast aims to establish trust and accessibility, creating a foundation for deeper dialogue on SAAP TV.

Phase 2 - University Talk-Shows (SAAP TV On-Campus Series)

Subsequent episodes will be recorded live at universities across Pakistan, including institutions in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, and Quetta. Each session will feature students, academics, and grassroots leaders debating region-specific issues, ensuring localized challenges are highlighted and solutions proposed, broadcast exclusively on SAAP TV.

Strategic Implementation Framework for SAAP TV

To maximize impact, SAAP has designed a three-tiered approach:

  • Collaborative Partnerships: Partner with 20+ universities, student unions, and NGOs such as Aurat Foundation. SAAP will serve as hubs for live recordings, while tech sponsors like Jazz and Telenor will fund digital access initiatives.
  • Youth-Centered Design: Comprising students from diverse disciplines, SAAP will steer episode themes, ensuring relevance. Additionally, SAAP TV will collaborate with youth ambassadors to moderate discussions and lead post-community projects.
  • Media Amplification: Clips from each episode will be disseminated across SAAP TV’s social media channels (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok), accompanied by infographics and call-to-action campaigns. Interactive polls and Q&A sessions will foster real-time audience engagement.
Expected Outcomes & Impact Metrics for SAAP TV
  • Direct Engagement: 5,000+ students across 20 universities, with 30% female participation.
  • Digital Outreach: 100,000+ views on social media platforms within the first six months.
  • Community Impact: At least 5 live solution-oriented projects, including mental health workshops in Islamabad and climate action clubs in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Sustainability & Long-Term Vision for SAAP TV

SAAP envisions the podcast as a catalyst for enduring change:

  • Programmatic Linkages: Develop and collaborate on annual national summits to establish the SAAP Youth Forum to sustain dialogue and entrepreneurship grants.
  • Corporate Alliances: Secure multi-year sponsorships from CSR programs to fund youth research.
  • Research Integration: Publish biannual reports analyzing podcast insights, providing GDS and policymakers with data-driven recommendations.
